We agree with your nerfing suggestions. The "Alacruun's Marked" abilities will be lost in Thedas, but she can keep the Storm Guide and the powers it offers her. We did have a question about that: does she need to have the book with her in order to use those abilities? Would it potentially be possible (based on how it works in her canon) for someone else to gain the same abilities through possession of the tome? You're accepted without nerfs regardless of the answer, we just want to know for future reference.

The one other major nerf will be to her Polymorph ability. In DA canon, shapeshifters are limited to three forms; here in Fade Rift we've been allowing four. Since in her canon it's unlimited we're willing to be a little more flexible on that limit, but we'd like to limit it to six forms overall. This doesn't mean six at a time: once a form is learned she won't be able to "unlearn" it and swap in another. We'd suggest choosing a few forms you'd like her to retain from her home canon and leaving a couple slots open for her to learn new forms during her time in Thedas, but we leave the ultimate breakdown up to you. Please let us know what you decide. (Note that shifting into a dragon is not something we allow given its significant plot role in canon.)

The rest of Adalia's magic will remain, subject to the usual caveats: First, she's subject to the same line-of-sight restrictions as native mages, and second the more different a spell is from what's possible for natives, the more unusually difficult and taxing she will find it. Judging from your current list, we don't think the second is likely to be a significant issue for her; most of what you've described is reasonably similar to native magic, but she will find large-scale weather manipulation noticeably harder than she remembers.
