We understand that there is a very limited amount of canon information available for Haldir, and we appreciate that you were probably attempting here to stick to the facts! When you revise, you should feel free to make reasonable extrapolations from what canon info there is in order to flesh out his history and personality into a complete and playable character. Just make sure that where you're offering headcanon (i.e., things you've made up yourself based on, but not drawn directly from, canon) you make that clear and indicate what you're basing your decisions on.
