↠ Although he's cut off from the Light/Shadow, Anduin will be able to maintain his magical abilities by drawing on the powers of the Fade instead. He likely won't notice much difference in terms of process of 'feel' of casting. Working with a spirit won't be necessary. He'll be subject to the same line of sight limitations as native mages.

↠ The limits on his magic and the specific abilities you've described are all fine. In Thedas, use of mind control can carry with it accusations of blood magic, so please keep that in mind when choosing to use it where people can see him. Also please make sure to get permission from players before using it on their characters (or have a permissions post with an opt-out, if you prefer).

↠ His scrying abilities will be limited to occasional and unpredictable flashes of insight into his present situation like you described--basically as is fun/useful to plot without cutting out others. The same goes for his oracular bones, more or less: they will mainly assess his own conduct (hurting him if something he's doing or not doing violates his own personal conception of justice), but may on rare occasions provide a vague warning that something in the present situation has the potential to result in an unjust outcome, without the ability to ask questions of them. However, because this is Thedas, and there is potential (if not actual) injustice around literally everywhere all of the time, we'd suggest that his bones only cause pain when there are particularly dire consequences on the line, or when it's fun for you.

↠ His sword being able to split into two blades and be reformed into one at will is fine, but it won't have other magical abilities.
