Your application has been approved, with the following note:

↠ We can't tell from your app whether damaging the sword is the only way to injure him or not in his canon. If it is, then in FR, that won't be the case: his physical body will be vulnerable to injury and illness even if the sword is undamaged and will have to be healed or cured the usual ways. But it's fine for damage to the sword to also result in injuries to him and repairing it to fix those specific injuries, too. Please remember that magical healing of any kind can't cure the Blight or Red Lyrium corruption, and if the sword is corrupted it would have to be cleansed by a native capable of doing so rather than simply repaired.

↠ He can keep the sword and have a connection to it as long as it remains within 40 feet of him. If it's taken further than that, his sense of it will decrease until about 80 feet away. After 80 feet he won't be able to sense it fully or see/hear its surroundings, but it's fine for him to faintly sense the sword's general direction.

↠ When he does sense the sword's surroundings, it can't be a perfect video-like transmission of what is happening around the sword. Rather, it will be dreamlike and muffled and will work unreliably. There may be plots where it doesn't work at all.

↠ His ability to sense spirits is fine as long as they're also within 40 feet of him, but it won't work on abominations/possessed people unless the spirit is in control of the body at that moment. And we think you know, but just in case: he won't be a spirit in FR, except to the extent that all rifters might be a unique kind of spirit, and will have a constant physical form and need to sleep, eat, etc., like everyone else. Also just as a note: it's fine if one of his eyes is violet, because it's canon that Thedas natives can be born with violet eyes, and it wouldn't be seen as especially unusual.

↠ Your proposal to nerf him to "very good normal human" levels of skill works for us, and we're fine with him keeping the cherry blossoms.
