ACCEPTED + NOTE

WELCOME

Your application has been approved, with the following note:
↠ Damon will find his healing ability slowed by 30%.

↠ Damon will be fully vulnerable to magic, including not just the magic of native mages but also the powers of any fellow Rifter. His healing can help him recover from burns, cold, etc., caused by magic, but he will still be initially impacted by it as much as any person. He will also find that he is more affected by spells from the Spirit school of magic than most native Thedosians.

↠ His immunity to disease will not extend to the Blight.

↠ Damon's ability to move faster than the human eye can follow (if we're remembering canon correctly and his speed can reach that level) will be limited to brief bursts a few yards ahead, similar to the Fade Step ability in Dragon Age canon.

↠ Damon and/or other characters will be able to discover a local stand-in for vervain. We'll work with you and other PCs to decide what this will be.

↠ The compulsion ability will be possible, but not permanent and could last no longer than twenty-four hours. He may find his senses and telepathy/dreamtime adventures are sometimes less reliable than usual; this will enable all of these abilities to be strictly opt-in.

↠ People in Thedas may have negative chill about demonic faces and blood consumption, depending!

Welcome to Fade Rift! Before you start playing, please:
↠ Join the Log, "Network," OOC, and (optional) Meme comms.
↠ Reply to the Taken List.
↠ Reply to the Player Contact List.
↠ Read the most recent mod post concerning the state of the game and plot sign-ups.
You're then welcome to post an introduction to the OOC comm! Since your character is arriving via rift, please wait to begin RPing until the arrival log is posted. If you have any questions, let us know.
