REVISIONS

Before we can approve your application, we need to request a few changes!

↠ We'd like you to revise the Strengths & Weaknesses section. We know that many video games give characters a very wide range of capabilities, but we prefer a little more realism in our magical dragon fantasy, and require that characters be written with a limited number of specialties balanced by other areas in which they are less than proficient, along with actual weaknesses. To this end, please identify which weapons and areas of magic Fran has spent most of her study on and specializes in. If in canon she's equally good at all of these things, you're welcome to decide which she's best at on your own. Please also expand on Fran's weaknesses, such that they balance her considerable abilities.

We also have some additional notes for you. There is no need to revise your application to take these into account:

↠ While Fran won't be able to keep her rabbit-like features as they're a little more outlandish than we think Thedosians would accept, if you like she can arrive in Thedas to find that they've been turned into an elf or a qunari rather than a human.

↠ Fran will be subject to the same line of sight limitations as the rest of the game, meaning that none of her abilities will work on things that aren't directly in her line of sight—essentially, superhuman abilities exhibited by rifters in Fade Rift are still a form of magic, so her ability to smell something beyond normal capabilities will be akin to subconsciously using a spell to smell it. With regard to her super senses, this obviously doesn't mean she can't hear someone having a conversation around the corner or smell the garbage inside the can beside her, but it does mean that unless she has direct line of sight on what she's sensing, she's limited to the range of normal human senses.
