Thank you for your interest! Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot accept your application to Fade Rift. We obviously allow for leeway in AU interpretations of characters, but we do ask that they stay true to the cornerstones of a character's identity. In the MCU, being powerless without his suit is a fundamental part of Tony's character that helps to balance out his other strengths, and we're not prepared to accept an application that does away with that, particularly when his list of other talents and special traits is so lengthy and being a mage creates several other problems with the application.
Our other concerns include Tony's close ties to Tevinter, which violate the spirit of our current cap on characters of Tevinter origin; the cap is meant to prevent a concept that is rare and foreign from becoming ubiquitous. There are also many aspects of his life that are improbable or impossible in Thedas, such as retaining titles and wealth despite being a Southern Mage. Furthermore, we would have to ask you to play a little less fast and loose with Tony's inventions. For example, since debates about difficult topics like Tranquility and the necessity of Templars are part of what makes Dragon Age so interesting, we don't plan to allow anyone to invent magic-dampening equipment more effective than what is already present in canon--we don't want to take that debate away from other players who are interested in having it.
You are welcome to apply for another character during this app round. You may also revise this character, taking the issues we mentioned into account, and apply again during a later round. If you have any questions or want more information about why we reached this decision, you can PM this account to discuss it.
