ACCEPTED + NOTE

WELCOME

Your application has been approved, with the following note:
We'd like to ask you to modify Marilaine's abilities as follows:

↠ We understand that some Keeper/Dalish spells in the game augment health or mana in conjunction with plant/earth magic, but those abilities are combat- or harm-centric, and we're not comfortable making the leap to mages being able to draw directly on lifeforces from things other than blood. If that were feasible (and especially if it were something a mage could learn without much formal training) it would eliminate a lot of the motivation for blood magic and fundamentally alter that dilemma. So Marilaine won't be able to draw in plants in the way you've described here. However, if you would like her to pursue learning about Keeper/Dalish magic in-game, she may be able to learn their combat techniques if you purchase that specialty through the AC reward system.

↠ Her other abilities with plants are fine, but the scale needs to be limited. She will only be able to impact a few plants at a time: enough to make a difference in a show garden, but not enough to feed a village or to make crops grow in a desert or snowy mountains, and so on.

↠ We want to be clear that Marilaine's affinity for animals extends no further than them leaving her alone if not provoked, hungry, or tainted. She will in no way be able to command or control them.

If you're okay with these limitations, you're accepted and good to go. If you're not and would like to discuss them further, let us know.
