Your application has been approved, with the following note:

Most of Mac's abilities are nearly identical to spells available to native mages, and so can continue to work the way you've described. There are a few restrictions to note:

↠ Mac will arrive without Ghost, and will not be able to resurrect or to heal himself. He will be as vulnerable to injury and disease as any native mortal.

↠ All of his abilities will be subject to the same line of sight and mana exhaustion restrictions as native mages, meaning that he can only use them on things he can actually see, and that he will not have unlimited energy, and must rest between casting spells or consume lyrium to replenish. Regular casting for extended periods of time will prove both mentally and physically exhausting, and over-consumption of lyrium will have serious side-effects similar but not identical to those suffered by native mages. Please contact us for more information if the side effects are something that's going to come up in RP.

↠ His "area of effect"-type abilities, like causing large amounts of lightning or fire, will be capable of injuring friends as well as foes. (Maybe this was already true; we're not sure how friendly fire type stuff works in his canon so we mention it just in case.)

↠ His teleport ability will work like the DA canon Fade Step.

↠ Shocking allies with lightning will have a 50% chance of healing the person or increasing their strength and speed, and a 50% chance of electrocuting them.

We have a few other general notes:

↠ Fade Rift does not allow fourth walling. While it's fine for Mac to be a fan of things like fantasy or sci-fi in general, please make sure not to have Mac refer to or have knowledge of the Dragon Age canon, or the canons of other PCs.

↠ Mac will arrive as a Qunari. You can decide on his hair and eye color, and whether he has horns, but everything about him physically must be within the normal range for Qunari.
