We understand that AUing always requires some deviations from canon, and we appreciate the desire not to make things darker and twistier than is necessary. However, given how little information we have about MCU Natasha's life before joining SHIELD, adapting her from this pre-canon point concerns us, especially as you've also chosen to remove one of the few key things we do know about her. The extreme methods employed by the Red Room and the indoctrination and "unmaking" that resulted are central to her character, and are also basically the only piece of her pre-SHIELD life that MCU canon has actually confirmed and fleshed out at all. Given that The Crows do engage in torture and experimental magic with their recruits in canon, to various degrees, we don't think there's a compelling reason to completely leave out such a fundamental aspect of her character.

Between that major change and choosing to adapt her at this early point that predates essentially all of her canon appearances, there's just not enough here that distinguishes this character as being specifically Natasha Romanoff as opposed to an original character. Please revise your app to either bring this more in line with MCU canon, or, if you would prefer, convert the character into an OC.
