Ferron has survived the chaos of the Elder One's ascension day, and is rumored to have finagled the ouster of at least one of her rivals to help smooth the path to promotion up the Venatori ranks in the civilian administration. Other than political maneuvering, her true passion is birds of prey. Her house in the city has a mews on the roof, and an even more extensive collection of rare birds of prey is housed at her (extremely fashionable but not particularly large) mansion outside Minrathous, where she spends much of her free time. Her prize possession is a Giant Bearded Hunterhorn Eagle named Rufus. One rival she has not managed to out-maneuver is Mosos Timesis, perennial victor of the most prestigious falconry competitions, who also recently beat out Ferron in a hotly-contested auction for an incredibly rare viable egg from a Seheron Sharp-Shinned Sea Hawk.

She has married up, in the social sense, to Horus Argyros, younger son of an ancient house that have been Magisters for literal Ages, and whose family connections have opened a lot of very fancy doors. Getting Horus to take her name was considered a major coup and a sign of Ferron's rise. The story at the time is that this was possible because it was a love match. Riftwatch has learned that Ferron has been cheating on her husband with their falconer, and that the falconer has recently begun blackmailing her over it.
