Comparing it to modern Thedas wouldn’t show any particular pattern--the lines cross over land, over bodies of water, in populated areas and in remote ones. They’re thick enough that the points where they cross on the map would encompass the entire island that was visited in the plot, or cover a whole city-dot on a map. Whether that’s genuinely the size and breadth of what’s been recorded or just a coincidence caused by the limitations of mosaic as an artform would need further investigation.
