Currently The Vault is available for Council Meetings and businesses, Adelaide spoke with Josephine about having chairs and tables moved there for the Council's use until renovations provide them with a proper meeting room.

OOC Discussion about an Emergency Meeting in Response to The Abomination

Upon returning from the Fallow Mire, Benevenuta Thevenet was seen gifting Dorian Pavus a frog. Dorian set the frog on fire. They laughed and walked away. Was this some kind of bizarre northern practice? A strange curse the likes of which have yet to be revealed? Who can say.

SEEN IN THE FALLOW MIRE: one (1) Bruce and one (1) Lead Scout Harding greeting each other with great fondness upon Bruce's initial arrival to the Mire (Mid to Late Firstfall, 9:41 Dragon).

The scouts working under Harding and other witnesses to this event may or may not have exaggerated this event to include details such as a warm and loving embrace, a dramatic retelling in where the two had run towards each other in sheer excitement - and in some saucier versions, having shared a passionate kiss. Speculations now begin to run rampant as to the nature of Bruce and Harding's 'true relationship' to one another.

Scouts working under Harding also may or may not be addressing Bruce in their notes as 'Hightown' when in discussion among themselves. (Thank you, Varric).

With Gorse and Kas having the same complexion, hair color, and even slimmer builds... the two must obviously be brothers! Especially when you see how they interact!

Maybe estranged brothers, even? How do qunari genetics work.

During the Abomination's Rampage three mages (Vivienne, Sabriel, Adelaide) and an ex templar (Cullen) valiantly fought and defeated the beast. During said rampage Adelaide put herself between a gout of flame and Cullen while he was caught unawares, sparing him further injury and being singed herself.

Due to the above mentioned diving between Commander Cullen and the flame, rumors have began that Councilor LeBlanc and he are having some manner of affair.

Word has it that Pel is pregnant, and the rumor is that she slept with a bunch of guys and told them all that they were the father. It takes very little questioning to learn that the source of the rumor is the actual father, an elven soldier named Saeris.

Alistair recently moved from the stables into Zevran's room. Clearly they are long lost lovers now making up after a terrible fight that was likely Zevran's fault for all his cavorting about with other lovers how could he, when Alistair was away.

Ellana Ashara

People see him giving her lute lessons in the tavern, and after each lesson the two slip out to a dark corner behind said tavern. Obviously she's getting some "private" lessons back there.

Isabela

She's utterly blatant about her using Zev for sex, and it's no secret the two have a long-standing history, though the exact details seem up for speculation.

Passersby the little library in the Vault may have seen a certain Maxwell Trevean & Gavin Ashara canoodling. Gifts were apparently exchanged, as were kisses.

Enterprising gossips may recall a similar incident on the battlements, and that one ended with tears for multiple parties.

When plied with alcohol, and asked for gossip, Gavin will admit the following things:

That yes, he thinks Zevran and Alistair should be together forever and how could you possibly disagree with him, didn't you see them together???

That he's pretty sure all that all that grumbling secretly mean Cassandra has eyes only for Varric, but that he isn't sure it is mutual.

That apparently there are Tal Vashoth around that are all too happy to see to your needs if you know what he means but don't bother Korrin she is lovely but he's not sure if she swings that way

Yes he's pretty sure that Cy is available and no he probably doesn't have an STI but watch out for Merrick

And

DON'T MESS AROUND WITH BEARS. Bears are dangerous, horrible creatures and if you see one you should inform him immediately so he can KILL IT DEAD.

When Korrin's in the area, she can be spotted in the tavern, getting very comfortable with Zevran and flirting like there's no tomorrow. This seems to happen on a regular basis.

Korrin seems to make it a habit of flirting with several people (Zevran, Twisted Fate, Maevaris, Taashath, etc.), but especially one of the rifters (or is she Antivan?), Araceli Bonaventura. Rumor has it that they had a dinner date before Korrin left for Orlais. Very romantic/steamy.

Templar & Mage Conflict Takes New Heights!

If a librarian didn't witness these two kiss first hand, this rumor would've hit the fan!

Prior to Salvatore's adventures abroad, Knight-Commander Sauveterre gave him not one but TWO farewell kisses within the library. Considering the strained political climate between Templars and Mages, it's safe to say that such a romance shouldn't be possible. One has to wonder if this pseudo-romance is a sign of things to come or merely a winter fling. Nevertheless, the librarians would like to remind everyone that the Hold's library isn't for snogging.
