quiiick question on MAGIC 4 GIFTS, since it's Satinalia time or thereabouts--
i'd like Myr to hand out some different small glyphs to people as part of his gifts. they'd be inscribed onto small portable objects (coins, pebbles, larger-size rocks for warming glyphs) & have a some different functions: warming glyphs/cooling glyphs for keeping stuff...warm or cold..., a variant of a repulsion glyph meant for keeping rain/snow off, and a glyph that will change states in an obvious (to the owner) way if the object it's on has been moved from where it was set down with the glyph activated.
these glyphs will: 1. not be capable of doing more than warming small areas/shielding one person from rain/keep a small amount of food cool/alerting someone they've been disturbed, 2. expire after a certain period of time (either a small set number of uses or a couple of months), 3. basically be a fancy magical way of doing something it would be easier to do non-magically (get an umbrella, for serious).
they're meant to be fun little convenience items vs anything permanent, THOUGH:
would it also be all right for him to offer one or two close friends something on the order of permanence/size as his locator glyphs? (e.g. a warming glyph that can keep someone's bed less chilly & will last for a while if Myr consistently maintains it)
