Hello! His abilities will need to be contained in the text of the app itself. It’s fine if that makes that section of the app pretty long—we didn’t put a word limit on that section on purpose.

You don’t have to be too detailed about groups of similar spells as long as you tell us the upper limits of what he’s capable of in each category. For example, if the character knows five different healing spells, we need to know the most severe type of injury you’re proposing he be able to heal, such as “He can heal illnesses and injuries up to and including reattaching severed limbs.” As long as you’ve done that, you don’t have to tell us he has one spell that heals severed limbs and one that heals minor abrasions and one that cures tummy aches.

Where summarizing that way isn’t feasible, it’s fine to list and describe specific spells. Just make sure you’re translating dice rolls and other tabletoppy mechanics by telling us the upper limits of the damage/effect you’re proposing: “this spell could potentially one-shot kill a man,” instead of a damage roll, or “this spell will only work on people who aren’t very observant,” instead of a skill check.

If you want to supplement the app with a spell list afterwards for your and other players’ reference and/or because it looks cool, that’s obviously fine, but the app will be the official record of what we’ve approved.
