Hi, we see you went ahead and put an app in, which is totally fine, sorry it's taken us a bit to respond. There have actually been two Cole players in the past, but the last one was several years ago now and was dropped around the time the Inquisition opened the Kirkwall outpost and the focus of the game shifted there. We think it's possible for Cole to have followed a broadly similar path as in canon, joining the Inquisition and remaining with their main force through Fade Rift's timeline, helping them without having ever worked with the offshoot Kirkwall base that became Riftwatch or having met the vast majority of PCs. We think that's the simplest solution for what he's been doing until now; why he's now coming to Riftwatch is up to you to figure out.

As for the small handful of PCs who might remember a previous Cole, we'll leave it up to you how you want to handle that. Asking for those memories to have faded away--as thoughts of Cole often do--so that you have a clean slate is fine with us. We've done some clear-up of old tags since then, but there are still some logs accessible here if you find that useful.
