Hi! Precise limits would have to wait until we see the app, but we can tell you that we definitely won't totally nerf her magic.

In the past the way we've handled magic that is substantially more versatile and powerful than native Dragon Age magic is by placing some limits to try to make it more comparable in strength and/or scope. This has included things like limiting certain types of especially powerful magic (mind-reading, casting spells over great distances, controlling spirits) and in general making it require more energy for a person to do magic, especially magic that is very different from anything that a native mage can do. So for Hermione, this might mean that casting something like Expelliarmus might be only slightly more difficult than at home, because power blasts are a thing native magic can do, while using Accio would be much more difficult than she remembers, and/or might only work on objects she can actually see. It is possible that her wand might not come with her, or might behave the way a wand does when it's broken or being used by a stranger in HP canon, e.g. sometimes failing or sending spells unpredictably awry.

As for learning new magic, she would not be able to learn native Thedosian magic, but she would likely find that studying it--specifically how it works and the underlying interaction with the Fade--would make it easier for her to use her own magic.

Any potions she had with her would probably still work, but we'd need to limit how many she could have. Other magical objects would be on a case by case basis, but are unlikely to survive the trip through the Fade.

We hope this helps!
