Your canon update is approved. Following this month's rifter arrival, Petrana will have vivid dreams of these events and wake up feeling in every way as if she experienced them in person. However, if any physical changes occurred during the events you describe, she will not experience those changes.
Regarding her enchantments, Petrana's enchantments will only work outside her line of sight to the extent that native mages' glyphs do--which is to say for a limited amount of time and only to the extent that they aren't interfered with by people or nature. If she wants to be able to create longer-lasting enchantments she'll need to do some experimentation and study with a knowledgeable dwarf or Tranquil in order to learn how to incorporate lyrium into the enchantments. (She can be unqiuely able to do this with small amounts of processed lyrium that's safe for her to handle on her own and can develop her own ways of using it, like painting with it or whatever, as long as lyrium is incorporated in some fashion to lend the magic permanence, and it takes time and effort to learn/develop the technique.) Please also keep the general power-level of her enchanted objects roughly in keeping with what's possible in DA canon. If you want to have her do something substantially different or significantly more powerful, please check in with us first, especially if it could have plot ramifications.
