the one about cullen's secret son

Who is that young boy of approximately three to four years of age who has frequently been seen by the Commander's side these past couple of months? Rumours have swirled almost since the very beginning, but the most pervasive is that the child is actually the Commander's secret son, whose mother, for some reason or other, is no longer able to take care of him.

It is unclear if the boy's mother is simply absent or dead, but public opinion seems to be leaning towards the latter, mostly because it means that the Commander is still on the market for potential suitors.
