Kingsway 1 - 8: Discovery of Red Lyrium Experimentation

PLOT: The Ashes Underneath His Nails
PARTICIPANTS: Jim Kirk, Hermione Granger, Adelaide Leblanc, Herian Amsel, Anders, Inessa Serra, Raylan Gibbs, Ciri
LOG: Log Post with plotting post linked in there too. Sign up post is here.
PREMISE: What seems to be a simple string of mysterious disappearances at the outskirts of Emprise du Lion instead leads into a discovery of Red Templars apparently having kidnapped and experimented on people, possibly turning them into abominations through the use of red lyrium for reasons unknown (for now).

OUTCOME:
  • The agents solved the mystery of the disapperances: the people had been kidnapped by Red Templars for the purposes of their experimentations
  • Investigating the place where the experimentations took place revealed that the subject of said experiments heavily involved the usage of lyrium. Circle books were also found in the place, through it is unknown explicitly from which Circle they may have come from.
  • Along with the circle books there were also records of said experiments, as well as a list of the kidnapped victims.
  • Evidence found in the place suggests that the people who died there had the red lyrium within them removed after death.
  • In the deepest parts of the place a child abomination was found; attempts to help were given but the child was too far gone to listen to reason and the agents were forced to take him down.
  • Regardless of knowing the truth of the disappearances or not, the people of Fromage are thankful for the Inquisition's help in putting a stop to the disappearances.
  • No PCs were seriously injured, but they're all going to be heavily traumatized for a while now, sorrynotsorry.
