Plot Reports

PLOT REPORTS

If you run a player plot, participate in a war table mission, or do something unplanned/unofficial that you feel may have wider implications for the game world, please use this page to submit an OOC report! Your report doesn't need to be lengthy or overly detailed but should include the basic premise ("A and B hunt down C"), state the outcome ("C is caught and placed in Inquisition custody"), and explain anything significant that is handwaved rather than played out if, for example, the log in question ended prematurely.

The purpose of these reports is twofold: first, to provide an easy reference for players to keep up with what's going on (or to get caught up if they're new); second, to allow the mod team to monitor the results of player plots and show the impact of those plots on the game world moving forward.

To submit a report, please use the form below and respond to the appropriate comment. In the subject line please put the date (or date range) of the plot as well as some sort of informative title ("Catching C").

August 28-30: { Taking out Red Templars near a Civil War front }

[personal profile] aceso 2016-09-17 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
PLOT: My Father's Eyes
PARTICIPANTS: Christine Delacroix, Korrin Ataash, Sam Gareth, James Norrington (+ NPC Templars), Bruce Banner, Ingrid Kief, Aleron Darton, Church
LOG: Link
PREMISE: The group is off to stop Red Templars and visit the Empress's soldiers to find Christine's father.
OUTCOME:
  • The general at the front pointed out where the Red Templars were holed up, and the party confronted them in their camp. There were fourteen of them, and none were left alive.
  • Nearly everyone in the party sustained injuries, especially because the Red Templar Horrors shot out red lyrium and electricity at them. There were also lacerations, sprains, and a concussion. Thankfully with two Spirit Healers, an additional mage healer, and plenty of healing mist/healing potions, everyone survived.
  • The Inquisition told the general of the Empress's army that they would kill the Red Templars that were harrassing the soldiers, and this was accomplished.
  • After killing the Red Templars, their bodies were burned and their camp picked over. Correspondence concerning red lyrium shipments were taken to hand over to the advisors (the significance of which I am leaving entirely in the mods' hands) and samples of red lyrium were taken back to Skyhold in easy to carry boxes, with intricate locks and wards placed on them to prevent the lyrium from affecting the party.
